Casey O’Brien enters his fifth year with Penn Highlands Volleyball Club after coaching the 16 Cherokee Red in 2009. He currently coaches at Laurel Highlands High School where the mustangs won their 2009 section crown.

Casey is a 1993 graduate of Derry Area High School, which has a rich tradition in men's volleyball. Casey is a lifetime member of the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Assoc. Casey was the 2008 coach of the year in the PSUAC and led Penn State Fayette to their first trip to the USCAA national tournament in school history ,while also capturing the 2008 PSUAC title.

Casey is always proud of knowing that athletes he has coached in the past continue to play or stay involved with the sport of volleyball.
